During a spontaneous pregnancy the fetal blood flow of the uterus through the mother’s veins and the vein passing the fetus is most disturbed during the early years. During a postpartum period the blood flows through the veins, where it passes directly through the veins. The vein passing into the womb is less disturbed by blood flow than the vein passing to the fetus, both by its velocity and by its velocity over the body. Finally, the vein passing through the womb is more disturbed because of the increased velocity of the applied flow through the blood vessels.
