As far as experience goes, there isn’t one MOU I’ve been a part of where we failed simply because we didn’t create one in writing. Whether its the buyer side or sellers side, a properly craftedMoU sets things in motion before any money was ever transferred. It protects our parties’ rights by establishing our expectations upfront; our MOUs usually are very good negotiators that could have all of our rights under pressure at the table if it wasn’t created right at the beginning. This kind of understanding saves both the time spent, and ultimately protects the legal interests, that the lawyers won’t even have had to go into the deal on these grounds which was created wrong from the very starting

Well, let me tell you this: preparing and signing MoUs can feel stressful, especially when navigating complicated corporate partnerships within DHA.
