When I was in my fourth year at university, studying Human Resources Management (HRM), I took on some extracurricular activities alongside my textbook courses. With every well-defined document or program on the board, I can help employees feel more protected, secure – knowing when and how to proceed (and I think most employees desire to know the “when” and “how” of HR) but at the end the day – not getting penalized due to an HR mishap.

What these guides won’t tell you (nor most in legal profession for that matter) is how crucial it is to approach HR policies carefully and thoughtfully.
